2012 floral’s (above is Topshop fav- Mary Katrantzou)
Clashing, Big, Bold and Bright. Elle says “there’s nothing Ditzy about springs floral arrangements”. Do we agree? How many of us will actually try to pull this off without the fear of looking either try hard or frumpy or worse worry that a bee might think ur lunch?
Its definitely not one for the faint hearted but it is all the high street stores already so proceed with caution.
I personally like a loud print- H+M and Zara are my favourites for this particular trend. Here are some modern interpretations of this years tribute from Beyonce, Lala and Tulisa in an inspiring swimsuit from Ted Baker (I like).

Minty fresh colours have been seen on every celebrity worth their salt recently; including Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Rihanna, Solange (girl crush) and Cassie who make the colour a stand out piece or let shine in all its glory.
It has also been seen making headlines on the catwalk and is a very spring appropriate colour that fits in perfectly with this seasons ice cream pastel palettes.
I think its a particularly stunning shade against dark skin but compliments all very well!
Ps. For me, the pic of Ashanti is how not to wear this trend. Its the same ALC blazer that Kimmy is wearing but it simply doesn’t shine in the same light. (It pains because I luv my girl but there is too much going on and then nude shoes?!?)

Neutral and nude is a cheat way of getting that spring vibe if you are not feeling all the bright and pastel colours and it goes with everything!!!
I think Brandy’s fur throw on is #killing it but I also like how Jennifer Lopez has made it look so simple and clean with denim!
Beyonce and Jessica Alba have also shown that neutral can work even if your mummy (I personally do not wear lights around any little ones!) But their looks are edgy, fun and fresh!
Ps. How cute is Haven, and check Blue Ivy in pumps already. Lmao

Natural swag + clashing prints = Solange Knowles
La di da (I will be swagger jacking this look over the summer! )
☺

Has anyone else read these amazing books yet??? If you have feedback would be greatly appreciated!
I have so much passion for the art of pattern cutting and these books look like they can take any designer to the next level.

I need these shoes in my life!
If like me you can not get these imitations are widely available – Topshop, Next and M+S (shocker?!?) Have the best I have seen for a minute!

I have a new respect for the the ‘jean’. It can hold you in, pick you up and all the while looking darn good. Only recently a fan of Topshops range (I was a straight levi’sand GAP girl for most of it) i have come in particualr to love their coloured collection – indigo, burgundy and dark…. I LOVE them all and the endless possibilities they will bring…
happy sunday and happy new year!!!
As Winter swiftly approaches, I am gleefully heading to the back of my closet where I pull out my favourite winter coats (this years new purchase is the Oasis Wrap coat in chocolate) and jackets. The perfect excuse to recreate myself and where the most comfortable and snuggly outfits I own.
Also making good use of this excuse are some of my fav celebs below. Rihanna , Leona and Rochelle definitely have that winter swag going on (I am particularly fond of Leona’s neutral look) -
Leona’s coat is from Topshop and Rochelle’s is from Zara, happy shopping!!!

I am absolutely in love with floral prints this season and more importantly being able to clash prints!! If your brave then just add a power piece like Taraji or Rochelle above, this is defo a trend that I intend to take to the beach, I just hope the flower friendly bee’s/wasps stay the heck away from my ass!
If you are looking for cheap buys, Primark and New look has to be firm fav’s but i have also discovered the joys of online shopping at ASOS, Misguided and ‘Saturday’ girl group haunt OwntheRunway.com have the best stuff!!
I have of course added pics of some inspiring celebs who are working my fave trend right now, i.e. Kerri, Ashanti and Rachel below.
